This full-day escape takes you from Puerto Plata to the postcard-perfect sandbank known as Paradise Island (Cayo Arena), famous for its shallow turquoise waters and vibrant marine life.

Your day starts with a drive along the north coast to Punta Rucia, followed by a fast boat ride through mangroves and calm Caribbean waters. When you arrive at the sandbar, you’ll have time to swim, relax under shade and enjoy some of the best snorkeling in the region.

After your time on the island, you’ll head back to the mainland for a Dominican-style lunch at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel.
